The piece shows the story of the wedding rings of Frida Wolff and Felix Wolff, my paternal grandmother's grandparents. The rings have been passed down all the way back to Aliza Drori, my grandmother. The piece shows a model of the two rings and structures showing how they are passed down from generation to generation in the family, in the first room (upper right) of the piece you can see how Felix and Frida gave the rings to each other on their wedding day. In the next room below, you see how after Felix's death in World War I, Frida presents the rings to their three children: Ludwig, Margot and Heinz, who is my great-grandfather. In the next room, after the rings came to Israel from Germany, Heinz passes the rings to Shuki and Aliza, my grandmother. In the last room my grandmother shows these rings to my cousins and I and tells us about them. The work tells a story of the life of Jews in the diaspora, scattered around the world, and the story of immigrating to Israel and the establishment of the state, which is a story that concerns us all and shows our unity as a people.
