This research allowed me to learn about my family's migrations from Lebanon, Syria, and Alexandria, as well as about the teachings from my grandparents: like my grandfather, Sony, who used to say that no matter what happens, you have to keep a smile and always see things in the best way possible. I created an artistic project, a dress with photos of my family printed on fabric, made with a technique called transfer. This dress is inspired by my passion for designing clothes and it also represents the livelihood of my family.
