The Roots project is a very special project because it helps us understand our identity and discover who we are and where we come from. In this model I wanted to represent all my research through a three dimensional photographic frame. To convey the passage of time I used depth as an element, in which I show a kind of genealogical tree which encompasses from my great-grandparents to my grandparents and then from my grandparents to this day with each and every member of my immediate family members.As you can see each one of them appears with the flag of the country where they come from. Additionally, I highlight some of the most important family objects, which have helped to keep our Jewish traditions alive. I decided to place along the photographic frame photos of all my family members. The knowledge I have acquired is invaluable and it has allowed me, not only to get to know my past, but also to build a clearer vision of my present and future.
