What I like most about going to my grandparents' on Shabbat is sharing the moment with my entire family, where we are all at the table, commenting on how delicious the food is, or just talking about things that happened to us during the week, These are the moments that you end up cherishing for the rest of your life. My grandmother begins cooking on Thursday to have food ready for us on Friday, and she makes the same recipes that her mother made, and her daughter will follow in her same footsteps. At the end of this process, I can say that the most important thing at this moment, is to be together. That traditions are very important and that they cannot be lost. They are what makes us continue here with a religion and a community.
