My research about my ancestors has led me to a deeper understanding of who they were as individuals, not just their outward appearance. In my artistic work, a family tree, each individual is represented not only by their figure but also by the values and qualities that defined them. I have integrated a magnifying glass into the artwork, symbolizing the introspective gaze. I applied in my searching to reveal the dreams, hopes, and values that guided their lives. Each branch of my family tree not only represents a familial connection but also a story of perseverance, love, resilience, and other values that transcend generations. This work thus becomes a tribute to the inner richness of my ancestors and to the legacy of values that have passed down through our family, forming a shared heritage of humanity and connection.
